What we do not offer you

A catalogue is judged as much by what it refuses as by what it keeps. The products below are among the best sellers in the health aisle. We do not list them, and here is exactly why: what they promise, what the studies actually show, and on what condition they might enter the catalogue one day.

Why this page exists

This site makes money when you buy. Publishing the list of what we refuse to sell is the simplest way to show you that the ranking is not decided by the commission. If one page on GUIVONIZ deserves reading in full, it is this one.

And the other way round

What entered the catalogue after checking

The same reading work brought in products we had not thought of. Potassium-enriched salt substitute, for instance: a trial in nearly 21,000 people over almost five years, with strokes down 14 % and all-cause mortality down 12 %. It is now the best proven product on the site, and it costs six euros.

Enteric-coated peppermint oil too: seven randomised trials, a relative risk of 2.39 on irritable bowel symptoms, and no heterogeneity between the trials. It is now the best documented product in the entire digestion aisle, and it was not on this site.
